Something Wicked

Written & Directed by Johnny McKnight.  WORLD PREMIERE.  Produced by Random Accomplice.  2004.

When we three get together strange things happen.  Bad Things.

Trouble is brewing in the Crowe house.  Today is mother’s funeral and the girls can’t decide on what to wear, what to read at the service but more importantly what spell to cast on any unwelcome mourners.  As the three sisters wait for the funeral car to arrive, buried memories are unearthed – the first time they realized they could make magic, the first time they realized how deadly their magic could be, and the first time they used magic to kill.

By the pricking of their thumbs, something wicked this way comes.

Very, very funny… a dark delight… a magic hour of entertainment… the devil wears primary.  THE METRO

One of Scotlands most innovative and promising young theatre companies….. one of the most original and innovative shows I’ve seen in a long time… a riveting rollercoaster.. makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up… probably the best 70 minutes you will experience. THE ABERDEEN PRESS & JOURNAL
